David J., M.D., is the only fulltime board-certified radiation oncologist,
the only certified Cyberknife doctor in Schuylkill County, and is the
Medical Director of the Simon Kramer Cancer Institute in New Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania. Dr. Moylan has been in practice in Schuylkill and Carbon
Counties since 1986.

A graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a
Bachelors degree in Life Sciences, Dr. Moylan received his medical
degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, where he
was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor medical Society
in 1977. After an internship ans residency in radiation oncology
at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, Dr. Moylan
trained under Dr. Simon Kramer, one of the nations premier radiation
oncologists of his time ans a pioneer in his field.

Dr. Moylan served for several years as assistant professor of radiation
oncology at Thomas Jefferson University Medical College. Dr. Moylan
has made his career mission to actively promote cancer education,
awareness, and early detection through aggressive cancer screening
as well as professional education. His clinical research studies and
lectures are numerous, and include presentations in Philadelphia,
San Antonio, Dallas, Hershey and Cambridge, England. He is a past
member of the Board of Directors of ASTRO, The American Society for
Therapeutic Radiation Oncology and the Schuylkill Unit of the
American Cancer Society.

In addition to the many professional society affiliations, Dr. Moylan
is a member of the Knights of Columbus in the Third Degree as well
as a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians. In 2012 Dr. Moylan
was elected Coroner in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. Dr. Moylan
and his wife Denise, a board-certified pulmonologist at Simon
Kramer Cancer Institute, have four children and reside in Auburn,
Pennsylvania.
